Students in the Aerospace Engineering class recently learned about the main components of aircraft and the basic principles of aerodynamics.  They put this knowledge to use by designing and building a balsa wood glider using blueprints they created from a dedicated software program.  While testing their gliders, the students soon learned that in the real world not everything goes according to plan and they will have to adapt accordingly.  They also learned that duct tape and Superglue can solve a multitude of engineering problems.
